State of the Root: Sydney Census Findings

The romantic condition of Sydney, as enumerated by its residents. 1 respondents counted to date. Every figure below has cleared the Bureau's k-anonymity floor; everything that has not is withheld, in-voice and on principle. The ABS reports in June 2027. The Bureau reports now.

City level

Insufficient data. The Bureau requires more of you.

Postcode drill-downs

No postcode has cleared the floor yet. The Bureau requires more of you, specifically and by suburb.

Not yet counted? The short form takes under a minute, which is longer than some of the arrangements it asks about.

How to read these findings

Every figure here is drawn from the Sydney Root Census — six fixed-choice questions, one postcode, no names and no free text. Results are published per cell only once enough people have answered that no individual respondent could be inferred from the number. Cells below that floor are suppressed rather than estimated, which is why the report grows slowly and why the published figures can be relied on.

The count is continuous and the findings update as they clear. To be enumerated, the counter is at the Sydney Root Census.
